Jonah was adopted from GABR in 2009.  A little story about him . . . On a street corner in Milwaukee, a little boy sat with 2 underweight dogs, a little white one and a brown Boxer. Trying to sell them for $20, the boy waited for anyone to take them. A woman who could not bear to see them not go to a good home bought them. She kept the little white one for herself and she brought the Boxer Jonah to the Green Acres Boxer Rescue. Jonah was about a year and a half old and you could see every rib in his body. He was adopted by us to give our other boxer Amber( 7 years his senior) a playmate. They became fast friends. Amber showed Jonah all of the tricks to put on the weight. Jonah was enrolled in doggie school and soon learned all of his commands. At home, he loves to lay on your lap and enjoys all of the attention and love that anyone is willing to give him. He is really so sweet. Even though Jonah has a loving home with a big yard to run around in, he seems to prefer staying indoors and being a house dog. He has brought so much love to his new family and fits right in.
